Brimar thermionic products KT88 is a beam tetrode that has been selected for its sonic purity, and is most suitable for audio Hi-fi power amp applications. With its dusted M-O style rugged plate design, it has a smooth texture that compliments all but the most expensive amplifiers.

Whilst it is not a carbon copy of the original M-O valve, this certainly comes very close to it, and offers an excellent rendition of the beam tetrode vacuum tube sound. We absolutely understand the kudos surrounding the original KT88 and despite this the Brimar thermionics KT88 is a worthy replacement for the classic 88’ at a fraction of the N-O-S cost.
